Selection of Participants

The total number of course participants is limited to 65 to enable active participation and interaction during workshops. Our target audience is PhD students working in academia and industry, utilizing mass spectrometry in their projects; however, we also strongly encourage applications from post-doctoral scientists interested in mass spectrometry. We aim to balance gender and cover a large geographical distribution for our participants.

The two prime criteria for participant selection are:

  1. The participant already has a basic understanding of proteomics
  2. The participant will likely use the acquired knowledge in his/her current work/project.

Applicants will be asked to submit a motivation letter (300 words) explaining how they will benefit from the course and where they lay out their previous proteomics experience.
